ENDLESS SPORTS BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Scott Stein

Executive Director

Scott has enjoyed years of volunteering and community outreach prior to leading the Endless Sports team. Whether it was coaching his sons (Skyler and Ethan) in basketball, baseball, soccer, flag football or lacrosse, coordinating Community Events (Thanksgiving Day Touch-Football Fundraiser for ALS or a Gift-wrapping Party/Toy Drive for the local Children’s Hospital) or being an Athletic Booster Club Board Member at his sons’ high school, Scott has always recognized the impact that a person can have in the community. Scott sees Endless Sports as the perfect vehicle for him and his entire family to meld their two passions … sports and community engagement.

Ron Howrigon

Vice Chair

Ron Howrigon is the President and CEO of Fulcrum Strategies, a company he founded in 2004. He has been very active in advocating for children with special needs. In 2010, Mr. Howrigon joined the Board of Directors for the Mariposa School in Cary. He also served on the Board of Directors for the Miracle League of the Triangle from 2014 through 2016. Mr. Howrigon lives in Apex with his wife and three children, the oldest of whom is on the spectrum. When asked about having a child on the spectrum, he describes it as the hardest and best thing he will ever do with his life.

Nailea Large

Treasurer

Nailea Large is a financial professional and fractional CFO with extensive experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and strategic planning. She supports business owners by simplifying complex financial information and helping them make confident, informed decisions. As the mother of a son with autism, Nailea is deeply committed to advocating for the autism community and brings both professional expertise and personal passion to her role on the board in support of the organization’s mission.

Erin Stein

Secretary

Erin has always displayed a strong commitment to giving back to the community and helping those in need. Never concerned with the “title” or “position” – Erin has a long history of being involved in “whatever capacity” is needed. Family is everything to both her (and Scott) and she works tirelessly in ensuring that her family spends quality time together and share responsibilities in all philanthropic endeavors. A proud graduate of Auburn University, Erin brings her maternal instincts to work every day – at her boys’ high school.

Joshua Higgin

Member at Large

Josh has been involved in youth sports for his entire adult life starting as a summer recreation director for his hometown where he coached and directed youth baseball and softball in the summers after graduating from high school. He has also been a volunteer coach for the Kraft Family YMCA in several sports while his sons were younger. Josh’s prior nonprofit board service includes being a member and treasurer at his church. He is an intellectual property attorney and enjoys spending time with his wife and family while being involved with the sports and activities of his two teenage boys.

 

Romas Gabbrielli

Hello, my name is Romas. I play video games, soccer, snowboarding, bowling and fishing. My number 1 favorite is Video Gaming. I joined Endless Sports 3 years ago and I always have a great time when I come to events. I like the volunteers and parents cheering on the athletes. The athletes and volunteers always have a great time. Lots of smiles and high fives constantly. Additionally, the volunteers are great people and always keep the sports entertaining throughout the year.

I encourage you as an athlete or volunteer to come and enjoy Endless Sports. You won’t regret it!

Skyler Stein

Member at Large

Skyler is a Political Science student at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, and will be graduating in Spring 2026. He hopes to pursue a career in Public Service. In addition to his important role with Endless Sports, Skyler’s days are busy being the President of UNCW’s Student Body, and also serving on the Board of Trustees at the University. Skyler has played lacrosse for over 10 years, and has played at many levels, including college club lacrosse.

Ethan Stein

Member at Large

Ethan is currently a college student pursuing a degree in finance at Skyler is a Political Science student at the University of North Carolina Wilmington and will be graduating in Spring 2026. He hopes to pursue a career in Public Service. In addition to his important role with Endless Sports, Skyler’s days are busy being the President of UNCW’s Student Body, and also serving on the Board of Trustees at the University. Skyler has played lacrosse for over 10 years, and has played at many levels, including college club lacrosse. and is actively involved in campus leadership and athletics. He serves as the Sophomore Class President and Deputy Treasurer in the Student Government Association, where he develops strong leadership, organizational, and financial management skills. In addition to his leadership roles, Ethan competes as a club lacrosse player at UNCW and continues to mentor young athletes through his work with Endless Sports.
